Following my dreams?

Finding a passion in life is extremely tough.

And what’s worse is when you try to make a living out of your passion. That’s when all the problem starts.

You see, life is already hard and we are all finding some way or another to keep ourselves entertained, enriched, and so on.

So when we finally find something to do, be it writing, reading, gardening, surfing, we feel excited.

We feel life finally has a purpose! Only to find out that in order to buy a house, or groceries or even a proper meal you need money.

So that’s when your shortlived happiness dies and you follow the 9-6pm schedule.

I’m not saying working in an office job or a proper job is not how you should be making money or living your life.

The thing is in life, I feel each of us have a certain purpose to achieve. Some of us may turn out to be bankers, and that’s fine. Some, artists, and that’s also okay.

I feel that if you have found your passion, no matter what happens, don’t let it die.

Your passion finds you rather than you finding it and that’s why it’s special. Because whatever finds you in life, be it love, family, job, it’s a special opportunity.

So even if you can’t make a decent living out from your passion, it’s alright.

At least you have a passion and that’s reason enough to be happy.
